Plastics Students! Up for a Challenge?

New Editor-in-Chief Announced for SPE Polymers

Effective June 1, SPE Polymers welcomes Professor Suprakas Sinha Ray as the journal's new Editor-in-Chief. Professor Ray completed his Ph.D. at the University of Calcutta in 2001. He is based in Pretoria, South Africa, and is Chief Researcher and Manager for the Centre for Nanostructructures and Advanced Materials, and Director, DSTI-CSIR Nanotechnology Innovation Centre, Council for Scientific and Industrial Research. Professor Ray has written 14 books, co-edited nine, authored 30 book chapters on polymer-based nanostructured materials, and published over 575 articles. Visit SPE Polymers here.

New Editor to join Journal of Vinyl & Additive Technology

Starting June 1, Alexander B. Morgan, Ph.D., will join SPE's Journal of Vinyl & Additive Technology, as new editor. Dr. Morgan is Group Leader, Distinguished Research Scientist, Advanced Materials Chemistry Group, Structural Materials & Engineering Division, University of Dayton Research Institute, Dayton, OH. He has 30+ years of experience in the area of fire safety science including materials flammability, material thermal degradation & decomposition, polymeric material flame retardancy, fire science, fire testing, and fire safety engineering.
